About Nishi-Shinjuku Kodomo Shokudo
Nishi-Shinjuku Kodomo Shokudo is an organization that provides a safe and enjoyable place for children in the community to eat. To address issues such as "poor eating," where children do not get enough to eat three meals a day due to family circumstances, and "isolated eating," where children eat alone, the organization collaborates with local welfare and children's committee members and elderly meal service providers to support children and child-rearing families through "food." Their goal is to foster the healthy growth of children throughout the community by providing warm meals and a place for interaction.
