【Announcement: Used Clothing Collection Box Installation】"FASHIONX" - An Initiative for Solving Social Issues Through Used Clothing
Used clothing collection boxes will be set up at Shinjuku Park Tower!
"Only 5% of clothes disposed of are recycled."
The fashion industry, characterized by mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal, has been identified as an industry with a very high environmental impact due to increased resource and energy use in manufacturing and shortened product lifecycles, becoming an international issue.
Let's rethink how we dispose of clothes and work together to create a better future for fashion and the environment!

Sustainable fashion starts with "knowing."
To address social issues in the fashion industry, FASHION X Co., Ltd. aims to create a circular society where clothes are not discarded by collecting used clothes and reusing, remaking, and upcycling them.

Thank you for your cooperation with the used clothing collection box!
We recently installed a "Used Clothing Collection Box" in the 1st floor lobby area of Shinjuku Park Tower, and we received cooperation from many customers. As a result--
- Total collected: 250kg
- Women's: approx. 150kg
- Men's: approx. 75kg
- Other: approx. 25kg
These were the collection results. Thank you for your cooperation.
We are showcasing how used clothes collected at Shinjuku Park Tower are being utilized. The used clothes collected at this building will also be effectively utilized in various ways. We sincerely thank everyone for their cooperation.
*The exhibition period is until September 5, 2025.

Collected clothes are utilized as reused items through unique methods.
Donations are also made to children's homes and disability support facilities.

We collaborate with fashion schools and remake creators to provide opportunities for them to create and sell their works.
③ Recycle Examples
Used clothes that cannot be reused or remade are recycled as resources in collaboration with various recycling plants.

④ Used clothing collection boxes installed at 6 stations along the Keio Line
We are implementing initiatives to promote the collection and reuse of used clothing, and conducting demonstration experiments to promote the circulation of used clothing along the railway line.
The collected used clothing will be repurposed as recycled items, and will also lead to the creation of a system for circulating reused items in various locations along the Keio Line in the future.
In addition to the above event, the used clothing collection boxes are also being utilized as an initiative to foster communication.
