This is a compact box containing supplies that can be used in emergencies such as earthquakes and power outages. You can use the stored items to safely wait for recovery or rescue. Shinjuku Park Tower has two types of disaster prevention cabinets.
How to open a "disaster prevention cabinet"
How to open a triangular prism cabinet
Open the transparent cover and press the center of the PUSH button with your finger until you hear a "click" sound. The display window will change to "OPEN UNLOCK" and the door will open.
How to open a rectangular cabinet
Slide the cover to the left and rotate it. Press the button to open the door.
For safety, the door is prevented from opening completely by a stopper. After the door has opened a little, you can open it further by pulling it.

The disaster prevention cabinet contains the following items:
- Paper cups
- Portable toilet
- Toilet paper
- Tissues
- Whistle
- Hook
- Water
- Thermal/cooling sheet
- Poncho-style blanket (for privacy when using the toilet)
- Simple light
- Deodorizing spray
