Visitor Benefits
Visitors who register as a friend with the official Otobe Town LINE account at the venue on the day will receive a present of special kinako (roasted soybean flour).* Limited to the first 200 people (while supplies last).
Background of the Product Fair
Many areas in the Hiyama region, located in southern Hokkaido, face the Sea of Japan and are suitable for renewable energy such as wind power generation, holding the potential for clean energy creation. However, with an aging and declining population and a growing labor shortage, promoting local products and expanding sales channels has become one of the challenges for the sustainable development of the regional economy.
To this end, the Hokkaido Hiyama Fair project was launched with the cooperation of Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc., aiming to expand new sales channels for Hiyama region's specialty products in the Tokyo metropolitan area and increase regional recognition.
This is the second installment, featuring specialty products from Otobe Town. Once again, we have a selection of carefully chosen products, so we hope you will take this opportunity to visit and support Otobe Town.
