About Nishi-Shinjuku Children's Cafeteria
Nishi-Shinjuku Children's Cafeteria is an organization that provides a safe place for local children to enjoy meals. In cooperation with local welfare commissioners and volunteers from elderly meal services, they address issues such as "poor eating," where children do not get three sufficient meals a day due to family circumstances, and "solitary eating," where children eat alone. They support children and child-rearing families through "food." Their goal is to foster the healthy growth of children throughout the community by providing warm meals and a place for interaction.
