Background of the Product Fair

In the Hiyama region located in southern Hokkaido, facing issues such as population decline, aging, and labor shortages, one of the challenges for sustainable regional economic development is the promotion and expansion of sales channels for local products. On the other hand, much of the naturally rich Hiyama region faces the Sea of Japan and is suitable for renewable energy sources such as wind power generation, holding the potential for clean energy creation.
To address this, the "Hiyama Fair" project was launched with the cooperation of Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc., aiming to expand new sales channels in the Tokyo metropolitan area for Setana Town and Imakane Town's specialty products and increase regional recognition.
This time, as the first phase of this project, specialty products from Setana Town and Imakane Town will be showcased. These are all carefully selected products, so we hope you will take this opportunity to visit and support Setana Town and Imakane Town.
