[November 21] Zen Event for Workers
November 21st Zen Event
Overview
We will be holding a Zen event to help balance mind and body, with the Soto Zen priest Shinko Nishida, who shares insights on events and social media to make Buddhism more applicable to daily life.
We hope that participating in the "Zen Event" will provide an opportunity for people working in this building to reset their minds during work.
Before and after the event, there will also be time for interaction, such as Q&A sessions while enjoying freshly brewed green tea from Ito En.
How to Apply and Participate
Select your desired lesson from the "Participate" button, confirm the precautions, and send.
Please check the content of the participation confirmation email sent after submission.
- Please gather at the venue 5 minutes before the event starts.
- If there are still spots available on the day, you can participate without a reservation. We may close registrations once the capacity is reached.
- You can participate in both sessions. If you wish to do so, please apply for both Session 1 and Session 2 separately.
Event Details
You will experience Zen and Buddhist teachings, such as Zazen (seated meditation) and Dharma talks. This is not about strict, intimidating practices, but rather office-casual content that can be embraced starting today as a lifestyle for calm living.
This event is open to people of all ages and genders. Please come in your usual attire. We also plan to have opportunities for interaction, such as Q&A sessions. This is a chance to get closer to Buddhist monks and Buddhism, which you may not usually have the opportunity to interact with, so please join us.
Before and after the event, there will also be time for interaction, such as Q&A sessions while enjoying freshly brewed green tea from Ito En. If you wish to participate, please arrive with plenty of time.
